Worst customer service. Been dealing with a locked account and every time I call to check the status they don’t know what’s going on. Every person tells me something different. HORRIBLE. I can’t access the account at all and they seem to be dragging their feet to resolve the issue or don’t know what they’re doing.

This is the worst bank. Dont use them. I had deposited $100 in 2 CD accounts with the understanding that it would be a few hundred in a couple years, after 2 years, the balance ended up being $56 in each account. They must have charged me fees that they did not disclose. Such a scam .

Please don’t do business whit this bank , I have been dealing whit them for 6 months and 68 hr on the phone and talked to 34 people and non of them cud help me , so many lies and so many running arounds and no help at all .
The people who work at RDT and Security r not friendly and not helpful at all .
Please never apply for any of there cards .
I didn’t want to write this review but I was pushed by them because of there lack of helping me for the last 6 months .

I opened a Barclay Account in 2009-2010. I started with an available balance of $1500.00 and had $18,000 available as of March 1, 2023. I did a balance transfer about 13 months ago for 0% interest. My interest rate on my account was 17.99%. APR. The balance transfer/s 0% ended in December and January and my balance was close to $15,000.00. When I received my card statement at the end of January I had a huge interest charge. I review my statement and my interest is set at 24.99%. I closed the account about 2 hours ago. The relationship manager was unapologetic, cared less about saving a customer and happily closed my account. This is was a slap in the face, but a good lesson for me. I will do my best to avoid this bank and warn my family and friends. This is how we protect each other as citizens. Be safe and watch your wallet.

I regret to express my dissatisfaction with the Barclays Bank credit card service. My recent experience has left me profoundly disappointed, and I feel compelled to share my concerns.
Firstly, I encountered a significant issue when my initial credit card failed to arrive. To exacerbate matters, I discovered an alarming $1000 in fraudulent charges on my account, despite having only authorized a $55 purchase. This situation prompted me to contact your customer service, and regrettably, I found myself subjected to extended hold times during these calls.
Subsequently, Barclays Bank issued a replacement credit card on Monday, September 4th, and I promptly reported the fraudulent charges. I was assured that the new card would arrive the following day, Tuesday, September 5th. Unfortunately, it did not arrive as promised. My frustration grew when I called again, only to be informed that the card would be delivered today, Wednesday, September 6th, which, once again, did not happen.
I must emphasize my disappointment with the lack of communication from your institution throughout this ordeal. I have not received any notifications via email regarding the status of my credit card delivery or the resolution of the fraudulent charges. Such notifications are fundamental to a professional and reliable banking service.
This unfortunate experience has compelled me to question the professionalism and reliability of Barclays Bank. It is the first time I have encountered fraud, and I find myself reluctant to recommend your bank or its credit card services to anyone based on this distressing encounter.
I kindly request a prompt resolution to this matter, including the delivery of my credit card and the resolution of the fraudulent charges. Clarity and transparency in your communication would also be greatly appreciated.
