Could NOT be more rude and unhelpful. Obstructionist manager is a pill. Same old tired design year after year. Returning gift items one day later and a refund is NOT possible, only store credit that takes DAYS to process. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Very strange rude experience here. I was very excited to visit, as I had lusted after this brand for some time, and thought I might even buy myself a treat if something stood out at the store. I rang the buzzer, and the woman working there seemed to reluctantly let me in. She asked if I needed help with anything, and I said I was just having a look. She told me all their prints could be found online to look at, as if to say I wasn’t welcome in the store, without straight up saying that. It was very strange and left me feeling uncomfortable! I looked around for a minute then left, as the vibes of the store were so awful. I would still like to buy something, but maybe it wouldn’t be a great idea, as I’d always be reminded of this experience! Not good!

I ordered multiple items during Porthault’s semi-annual sale online, which promptly warned customers that due to high volume, there could be a 2 week shipping delay. The company stated that customers would be informed of their items’ availability status within 72 hours. Yes, in a rainbow and fairy-filled world that would have happened, but it’s been 3 weeks and I’ve heard nothing but dead crickets. Until I reached out to their customer service representative today, whom, I’m convinced, is really a shiny robot dressed in a Porthault hotel robe and drinking nothing but silicone lubricant, I would’ve been told absolutely nothing! The robot informed me that one of my main purchases ordered almost a month ago, was actually not available and that they would refund my credit card. What happened to letting your customers know within 72 hours that the incredibly overpriced sheet set I ordered made from crushed diamonds and the skin off a unicorn’s back wasn’t available? If I had been told in a timely manner, I would’ve bought another overpriced item like a duvet cover made of mermaid skin instead. My guess is that unless a customer spends $10k and up, Porthault couldn’t care less about your measly $2k purchases. Judging from another person’s review, I’m not the only privileged chump who’s been turned off by Porthault’s lack of customer care and service. Brooklinen it is then!

Terrible customer service. I placed 2 orders during their sale. The website said there would be a shipping delay of up to 14 days. Ok fine. For 1 order, the items were not even on sale. After 2 weeks had passed I called to find out what was going on & after several emails and phone calls they said they would expedite the shipping. Now I get an email that 1 of the items (not on sale) is not even available, although currently it says it is on the website. It would have been better to let me know this sooner, as the order had been placed 2 weeks ago. Everything about this was sloppy- from not shipping in a timely manner to not keeping proper track of what they have in stock. For this level of luxury shopping I expect more. Go to Pratesi or Frette.

I follow the instructions to wash the towel wrap but get unexpected result. Anything was not told by manufacturers on the website were considered as common sense. The towel is still usable but totally destroyed by misleading description “unfold it before washing it”. For towel wrapper, it should keep folded until finish washing and dying. So ridiculous.
