I highly discourage anyone from becoming a patient of Dr Gold. After 5 calls over the course of multiple days, including calls to a separate voicemail he had given me to let him know if the medication he prescribed was working (which it wasn’t) I never received a call back. Not from Dr Gold. Not from anyone in the office. Not from another Dr. And when I finally reached someone who was actually in the office (northwell health system is challenging to navigate) I explained again that I’d never received a call back and requested that my records be forwarded to a new ENT. The response I received was “ok”. No apology. No acknowledgement of failure to provide follow up care.

Good news is they did , in fact, forward my records.

HORRIBLE! the girl at the front desk (i may have heard her name as Carmen) is disrespectful and very unkind. I am not sure if she believes her job is to be rude to others but if you are a doctor allowing that kind of behavior you too are at fault and responsible. She talks down to patients is really just MEAN. Do not go here!!

Dr. Gold was the first and only doctor out of all five ENT's I saw to correct my deviated septum that stopped and performed a full exam and checked to make sure that there was nothing else wrong that contributed to my issues. He took so much great care and was an excellent surgeon. I would recommend his work to all.

I'm surprised Dr. GOLD does not have many reviews. He has given me a new life. For over 60 years I have suffered from very painfull sinus infections and headaches. I went through several doctors attempting to treat my condition but not one was able to offer any long term Improvement. Dr. Gold was able to diagnose and treat my condition. No more pain and suffering. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and showed a genuine concern for my health. Thank you.

Dr. Gold in no uncertain terms turned my life around. A growth in my nasopharynx was preventing me from breathing probably 24 hours a day and was making it impossible to sleep, essentially giving me a horrible case of sleep apnea. I had seen 3 ENTs before Dr. Gold. None of them found the mass after multiple appointments. Two wanted to do surgery on my septum, admitting it’s only verb mildly deviated, which makes no sense, and one told me to take allergy medication, which I had been doing for months to no avail.

I sat down in Dr. Gold’s exam room and he identified the mass within about 30 seconds of starting his exam. It ended up requiring surgery to remove, and Dr. Gold explained all the minimally invasive surgeries used today in comparison to what I’d been recommended by my prior ENTs, and gave me the time to research his techniques on my own. I went along with his recommendations, surgery was a breeze, and immediately after my recovery I could breathe better than I ever could my entire life. I could sleep again, and actually looked forward to sleep instead of feeling a sense of anxiety and dread at the idea of lying in bed tossing and turning gasping for air for hours.

I didn’t require a septum surgery, and my nose looks no different and is no more fragile than before. It’s just what it should be. Dr. Gold is unquestionably the man, if you have an ENT problem, this is the guy to see hands down.

I am very, very dissatisfied with Dr. Gold's treatment and do not recommend him. It's now been 2 weeks since I called him at his request relative to my treatment and have not received a return phone call-even with a reminder phone call I made to have him call me back. I don't think that a reputable doctor would do this.

I had my first visit today. I’ve been suffering from chronic sinus issues for several years without a fix. I found Dr. Gold to be kind, knowledgeable and considerate. I really appreciate his help.
