D&D Lawn Care cut this property for this management company and they have avoided to pay for the service. In a hurry to get it done and now not so to pay. I see low ratings now work was done. BUSINESSES AND PERSONS USING THIS COMPANY ISN'T A GOOD IDEAR. NOT A GOOD PRACTICE NOT TO PAY.

Rented from them for 4 years. At first when it was under previous management with Chelsea and Carrie, things were great. Then the last 2 years was completely stressful. They never wanted to fix anything. Had an inspection done on the home last September and nothing was ever fixed. Went through the proper channels of the portal and Romel would take forever to reach out and would always say "we are working on it." Prior to finally moving out, we had no hot water for 2.5 months! Made sure all issues were noted before leaving, definitely wasn't expecting the deposit back. Rotted flooring, cracks in ceiling, no hot water and they listed the place up for rent indicating a move in ready date 2 weeks after we left! No possible way with everything that needed to be done. Definitely do not recommend these people

HORRIBLE COMPANY. I WAS PLANNING ON MOVING TO SOUTH CAROLINA, LATTA FROM FLORIDA AND WHEN I ARRIVED AFTER I PAID THEM 1562.99 for pro-rated and deposit. The property was a disaster full of trash, yard wasn't cut, walls wrote on , porch broke, carpet not clean !!!! Missing appliances and just horrible !! JANE, MELISSA AND ROMEL are horrible and I believe they are not even part of this company!!!! Me and my 6 year old drove way from Florida and had to stay longer in the hotel and come way back with all of my things!!! This has been the worst experience ever!! DO NOT RENT with them they are a scam and take your money !!!! I am now proceeding with legal action against them!!!!

10/31/24 - Update on my previous review: Unfortunately, we still have not received payment from this company for the services we provided in May 2024. I’ve made numerous calls, left voicemails, and emailed both Romel and the owner, Melissa Hamaker, several times. I have had zero responses from her. I can see that the invoices have been opened. Romel has answered my calls 2 or 3 times (out of countless calls), but he always acts very calm and collected, showing no urgency to resolve the payment issue. He never follows up with me as he promises. His nonchalant attitude is frustrating. I truly don’t understand how this company has been in business for so many years. I wish I had seen their horrible reviews before doing work for them.

We provided service 5 months ago for one of this company's rental properties, and I cannot get a response from anyone to pay for our services, despite many attempts via phone calls, emails, texts and even a certified letter. The letter was returned. Romel is the one who scheduled our services. I tried to email the owner of the company but have not had a response.

I was contracted to perform work on one property and sent to look at two others. All tenants said the same thing, they had been forced to live with septic sewage on the ground for months with no action from Stromberg. The one property I was contracted to repair, I still have not been paid for and they continually dodge calls and do not respond to emails.

90 days after moving out and providing a forwarding address, I still have not received a final accounting, refund of my refundable deposits, or even a reply to my emails and they don't answer the phone. Save your money and do business with someone else.

Venders Beware …
they do not pay their bills and they dodge phone calls and text
I own and run a small HVAC company and sent our guys to a rental property of this company on Sunday 8/18/24 to take care of a tenant that was down.. Mellisa Hamaker who was the main contact has said she would pay the invoice the next day and did not, also said she would take care of it again the 2 days later and has not. Now 7 days later im out 637.00 in parts and labor after taking care of one of there rental properties. Definitely not the way I would expect to be dodged and not pay by a company of this size they say they have been in the industry for 33 plus years … just want to be paid for my work that was done. At this point, I’m considering it theft of services.

Horrible communication, once we moved out when our rental agreement was coming to an end we moved out the beginning of the month of the last month of being in that house that was honestly falling apart and they refused to fix or call us back to fix the problems with the house, now they are still not communicating with us and they are trying to charge us for rent on a house we have been out of for a few months. Be smarter than us and DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! they will scam you and try to get you for more money that’s not even owed to them.
