The owners are from southern Nigeria. They are friendly and hardworking. The wife even offered to share authentic recipes and teach me how to try and cook them. As I was leaving I noticed a few bins full of used Bibles that they had. After rummaging through I found an old Bible and another book of interest. I went to pay for them and the Lady told me they were free of charge and to just take them. True humility and an immigrant mindset to succeed.

I tried to shop at a place to support black owned businesses, but it is very hard to support a business that hikes up the prices by more than $10 the store is very disorganized, and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. There’s no set price is marked on anything people often say that they wish that we had a black on business for our hair needs, but the fact of the matter is. the one that we do have is terrible so I will continue to shop at Sam’s Beauty Supply, and HONIES

As I was shopping a woman approached me to ask what I was looking for. I told her I was just shopping for hair accessories, nothing specific. After a few minutes of watching me the woman told me to leave and come back when I knew exactly what I wanted.

She very much acted as though she was concerned I was going to steal, simply because I was browsing the store.

I gladly left her store and won’t be back. The owner proved herself to be disrespectful and prejudiced.

All of my experiences have been great! The prices never changed for me and I was always able to schedule at great times! All of my styles were Ghana braid style both neat and even. If you are natural though (4c), make sure your hair is already prepped and easy to comb! I recommend.

I've been going to Nikki for years to get my hair braided and always leave with results I like. They are always nice and kind to everybody that walks in all the times I've been there. I will continue to give them my business and recommend others.

If I could give them less than 1 star, I really would. They appear to be nice at first, but that's an act. Originally on the phone I was told that senegalese twist would be $140. So I thought about it for a day. The following day I called and made an appointment and was told that it will be $180. I didn't even bother arguing about the price because I'm willing to pay for quality work (or so I thought). Ha jokes on me! I went in on Friday and had to go back in the following Monday due to 2 twists unravelling over the weekend. Then 4 days later I had 3 twists come completely out and noticed that in the back of my head the twists were much bigger and shorter than the rest of my hair! For $200 (including the hair I bought from them) this was unacceptable. When I went in to confront them about my hair the oldest lady there laughed while yhe other 2 that were there attempted to get loud with me. I'm not even going to go into detail on what happened after that. Just know I will NEVER go back to this store or recommend them to anyone. I am one to take time to take care of my hair and when I tell you, I could have taken extra precaution to care for my twists and that still wouldn't of helped. I've had my hair up now going on 2 weeks and it looks like I've had it up for a month the way it's been unravelling. I support black businesses, but them DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!! If you're going to spend $200 for braids or twists avoid this place at all costs.
